Paul Horowitz MD FAAP
After residency and chief residency at Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles, I worked in Canyon Country for almost 9 years where I enjoyed caring for thousands of children in our community. Our family moved to Portland, Oregon 3 years ago searching for a different lifestyle and for me to take an opportunity to become the medical director of Pediatric clinics for a Children's Hospital; part of a large health system there.
Now we are returning to Santa Clarita to open Discovery Pediatrics, which will provide top-notch care in an environment that is focused on quality, not just quantity. My former patients know I wouldn't have it any other way! If you're a former patient, I can't wait to see you again. If you're a future patient, I look forward to meeting you.
When not seeing patients, I can be found advocating for health through various media outlets. I have worked with many companies to promote health, health care, and safety for children. I am an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics as well.
Personal interests include travel, close-up magic, water sports, and most importantly, spending time with family and close friends. I am thrilled to be returning to family, friends, and former patients in Santa Clarita.
