Daphne Horowitz MD FAAP

Being a part of Discovery Pediatrics has been a wonderful experience and a fresh change from the usual "Factory-Like" experience in most pediatric offices.  I love being able to offer a sense of comfort and personal care that is hard to find in medicine these days.

Prior to opening Discovery Pediatrics in 2008, I worked in Portland, OR for 3 years and here in Valencia for five years before that. I have been in the LA area since finishing residency in Pediatrics at Kaiser Permanente Sunset in Los Angeles in 1994.  I am originally from NYC and still love to go back there to visit.

My husband and I love spending time with our three daughters.  We all enjoy water sports, travel and spending time with family and friends. I love biking, working out, reading and working on my scrap books.
